When I was a little girl my dad drove a Lincoln Continental Town Car. I wish I could find an actual picture of that magnificent car, that really really large magnificent car. It was something like the car below. Large and IN CHARGE of the roads. It drove like a cruise ship and safely transported my family around town. For those looking to maintain and protect their cherished vehicles, consider exploring nationwide car park deck coating services.
My poor sister, she had to take her drivers license exam with that car. Can you imagine having to parallel park that beast?
When I was invited to the Lincoln Drive to Dine event I was excited to see how the brand had changed since 1979.
We test drove the new MKC and I have to say I kinda fell in love. I let Charlie drive so I was able to take in all the features of car while being chaffured. The car was sleekly designed and a smooth drive. I love that it had BOTH heated and cooled seat. My favorite feature by far was the park assist. Any help with parallel parkingI can get, I’ll take. If I was in the car buying market I’d defiantly give the Lincoln MKC some heavy consideration.
After the test drive we were treated to dinner at Gemini Bistro where we enjoyed a lovely three course dinner. .
I had the scallops with quinoa and fennel slaw as my starter.
I enjoyed the Loch Duart salmon with savoy cabbage, smoked bacon and a coriander vinaigrette as my entree.
And my favorite dish of the night, was the vanilla panna cotta with macerated strawberry salad for dessert.
It was a lovely evening. Having to get into a city cab to go home left me longing for the butter leather seats of the MKC and that new car smell.
