This summer has been a busy one. Between having fun socially and working on the house I have not been cooking as much as much as I usually do. And when I have cooked, I have made very simple meals. Salads and grilled meats have been a mainstay. I love taking advantage of summer produce and eating vegetables raw that I normally cook.
This has big flavor and big crunch. Even Charlie who is a green bean hater liked it.

Sesame Green Bean Salad

Ingredients
- Salad
- 4 cups green beans cleaned and cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
- 1/4 cup thai basil leaves
- Dressing
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 2 TBS cup rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 TBS honey
- 1 TBS grated ginger
- Topping
- 1 TBS sesame seeds
Instructions

Combine all dressing ingredients in a bowl and whisk until combined. Toss salad ingredients in a bowl and add enough dressing to coat. Top with sesame seeds.
