Yesterday I had a MAJOR case of the Mondays. I didn’t want my relaxing weekend in Wisconsin at friend’s cabin to end. Wanting to enjoy the summer weather, Charlie and I decided to have an impromptu rooftop sangria party. I whipped up a few tapas, and we headed up to our roof deck with a box (yes..you heard that right) of Beso Del Sol Sangria.
Beso Del Sol Sangria is the first prepared Sangria that I have tasted that tastes like homemade Sangria. It’s hard to believe it comes from a box..but it does. Beso Del Sol is a Spanish Tempranillo wine is blended with a selection of fruits. It is very refreshing, light and fruity and not too sweet. Being in a box, it is portable and great for parties. While the sangria is delicious just chilled, I recommend serving it with diced fruit to make it taste that much more authentic.
The Sangria paired perfectly with the fresh summer tomato and mozzarella skewers that I drizzeled with balsamic and sprinkled with sea salt.
Sipping sangria while watching the sunset last night was great way to end my day and defiantly helped eliminate my case of the Mondays.
You can find Beso Del Sol Sangria at Angelo Caputo’s Fresh Markets in the Chicagoland area.
