Nothing livens up a Par-taaay like Margaritas! And after the Broncos performance last week during the Superbowl I was glad to have enough of my spicy Mexican elixir to raise the spirits of our football-watching guests. Cadillac and Golden faced off head to head…the winner, I’ll let you decided.

Make Ahead Spicy Margaritas

Ingredients
Spicy Golden Margarita:
- 1 1/2 oz GOLD Tequila
- 1/2 oz Trip Sec liqueur
- 2 oz lime juice
- 1 tbs sugar
- 1 tsp hot as hell habanero syrup
Spicy Cadillac Margarita:
- 1 1/2 oz Tequila
- 1/2 oz Grand Marnier liqueur
- 2 oz lime juice
- 1 tbs sugar
- 1 tsp hot as hell habanero syrup
Hot as Hell Habanero Syrup:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 2 diced Habaneros
Instructions

In a medium saucepan combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar has dissolved. Add habaneros to sugar mix and store in an airtight jar for 24 hours. Strain liquid and reserve.

In a mason jar shake Tequila, liqueur, lime juice and sugar. Store in refrigerator for up to a week. When ready to drink in a salt rimmed cocktail glass add one jar of shaken margarita mix. Top with habanero syrup. Garnish with a lime wedge and a slice of habanero pepper.
