The coffee scene (coffee a scene?) is starting to heat up like the Chicago craft beer scene. Local roasters and fine coffee purveyor are popping up everywhere in the city; and to this I say, Hallelujah!!
When you are passionate about coffee you would like to try them all and know everything about this delicious drink, at We spill the beans you will find a website loaded with all the information related to coffee.
Nothing makes me more happy than sipping a fine cup of coffee prepared properly that is why choosing the best coffee subscription makes the difference.
While I will drink just about anything (sometimes gas station jet fuel is an evil necessity) I do draw the line at SANKA. But if given the option, I will always choose a great “cuppa of jo” from a local place that takes their coffee as serious as I do.
Last Saturday I had the great pleasure of attending a private coffee tasting at Bow Truss Coffee Roasters with a group of bloggers from Chicago Blogger Network. Greg, a Bow Truss coffee aficionado lead the tasting of 4 different roast. We started with a mild yet slightly acidic Ethiopian Roast. We sipped a strong and creamy Colombian as well as my favorite, a Burundi. We ended the tasting with a very unique Ethiopian coffee, since many people love coffee and that’s why using the best coffee machines in the UK could be essential to prepare great coffee.
Each cup was properly prepared and delicious.
Bow Truss sells coffee by the pound and buy the cup. The River North location is now open on Saturdays, so I can stop in and get my caffeine fix on the weekend!
You can visit Bow Truss at 406 North Wells, or follow them on Twitter, and Facebook.
