Over Easter weekend, Charlie and I road tripped to Grand Rapids, Michigan for the release of Founder’s Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS). It is an imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolates, then cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for an entire year. I am not a huge stout lover, most taste like motor oil to me but when you taste a truly well made stout and then add coffee (hello!) and chocolate, it can be a little slice of heaven.
Do you like Stouts? What is your favorite type of beer?

Love Coffee Stouts. Imperial are hit and miss for me. Although I have been liking them more and more.
