Last week I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Cookbook Launch party for Stephanie Izard at Salavge One.
The night was filled with great food, craft beers, creative cocktails, art and music. Each tasting station created a dish that was a take on one of Izard’s receipes from her new Cookbook Girl in the Kitchen. I have been a fan of Stephanie Izard since her season on Top Chef and I run at any opportunity to support her. I think she is an amazing chef and just a down to earth person. Not many people would spend the night in a photo booth taking pictures with guest. She funny, warm and just a really nice person.
The evening benefited Share our Strength. It is a fantastic charity with a goal to end childhood hunger in America.
I’m so jealous! I love Stephanie! I was so excited to eat at her restaurant when it opened. So good. It’s so good to hear that she’s just as down to earth as I hoped she would be.
