I’m still feeling under the weather so I’m really glad the weekend is here. I also seem to have a toothache. But the toothache only shows up at night. Its odd. I wonder if a sinus infection cold can cause tooth pain? It’s that or I’m suddenly grinding my teeth during the day. Like I said odd, and annoying. Needless to say, I cannot wait to sleep in tomorrow.
Only big plans I have for the weekend are to de-Christmas the house. Its a pretty easy task of dismantling the Christmas tree, putting away the stockings and then hauling the boxes back down to our storage locker.
I did manage to have a little fun after work tonight. Charlie and I headed to the Chicago Cultural Center for the opening of “Finding Vivian Maier: Chicago Street Photographer.”
Vivian Maier was a Chicago Street Photographer whose work was found when it was purchased at an estate auction. You can check out the blog Vivian Maier- Her Discovered Work to see some of her photographs (check out the video, from the December 22, 2010 post, its pretty amazing.
I do have to say, its much more brilliant in person. I highly recommend this exhibit to anyone visiting or who lives in Chicago. And the cultural center is free…double bonus!
