Yesterday I made an effort and that is all I can say about my workout. I showed up. I had ZERO desire to exercise, none, nada, zippo. But I went. I rode the recumbent bike for 30 minutes, I burned a whole WHOPPING 175 calories. I didn’t even break a sweat. But I went. I showed up.
That is more than I can say about today. I blew off the gym. I was going to go, but decided to not go. Why? Not sure. Just wasn’t feeling it. I was running late and guilt about the dog set in, I feel bad when I’m not home by 7pm to walk her. She gets walked at lunch; its not like she can’t wait until 7 pm. And its not like shes not loved or gets a ton of attention when we are home.
So in other words I used the dog as an excuse not to go the gym. Lame.
Just wanted to get that off my chest.

I feel worst, have one of these Life Fitness bikes at home and I have used it 3 or 4 times max in 3 years…
