On September 23, 2009 I signed up for Weight Watchers (again) and weighed 221.4 lbs (this was not my highest either. Yeah I think I tipped the scale at 226 that summer). It was two week before I attended a Weight Watchers Meeting (again). On October 11th I walked into my first Weight Watchers Meeting and weighed in at 214.8.
On October 14, 2010, almost one year later, I walked into Weight Watchers. I weighed 189 lbs.
In one year I have lost 32.4 pounds.
On October 10, 2009 I wasn’t able to run more than 3.1 miles due to injury. I wanted to cut my foot off the next day.
On October 9, 2010 I crossed the finish line after 13.1 miles and was able to walk pain free.
Last year I climbed copper fall, short of breath most of the way.
This year I climbed Copper Falls and hardly broke a sweat.
I even did it the day after completing 13.1 miles (that’s my finishers jersey tied around my waist)
I’ve come a long way in one year. But I still have a long way to go.
So stay tuned, keep reading and watch me reach my goals this year!
