After today, I THINK, my schedule is a bit more manageable. Although I didn’t have any meetings yesterday it was filled with a lot of cerebral activity. Then a trip to TWO Boarders to get this months book club book which I will read reviews online to prepare for book club I will power read for Thursday’s book club and dinner out since Charlie will be working Germany for 11 days.
Today I have an all day meeting at work, a book author luncheon at the Union League Club for Dara Torres’ Book, then a meeting after work at the Mid America Club. I somehow need to get home and walk the dog too.
I wore my “Business Uniform” today: black suit, black pumps, blue oxford. Classic black suits are easy because they pair well with just about any top and are slimming. This one fits me like a glove and the A-line is a bit forgiving around my hips. BONUS! It also required ZERO thought to get ready. I suppose I could have done a bit more accessorizing, but at 7 am I was just trying to get out the door without forgetting a spoon for my yogurt.
Suit- Margaret M (Mark Shale Outlet 2004)
Blouse- Brooks Brothers (2008)
Shoes- Alejandro Ingelmo (Jake Sample Sale 2006)

I love that classic look. You wanna know something funny? This croc wearing, fleece donning gal used to work at Mark Shale for a few years in college. LMAO!
