In addition to getting weighed in by my Lecture Prone Weight Watchers Leader every week I also check in with the Wellness Machine at work every few weeks.
In the past 7 weeks I’ve made the following progress..according to the machine:
The good:
I’ve lost 6.8 lbs
My body fat mass 3.3 lbs less
My BMI is 1 lower it went from 31 to 30
I’m not shrinking, I’m still 5’8″
The bad:
I’m still 35% fat with a poor % of body fat
I’m still overweight
please note: I’m fully clothed when I do this, but I do take off my shoes and watch. When I weigh in at Weight Watchers I wear leggings and a t-shirt and I weigh in first thing on Saturday mornings before breakfast. I’m usually 1-3 pounds lighter at Weight Watchers than on the machine. I weighed in today at Weight Watchers as was 194.0
Yes, I’m going in the right direction, albeit, slowly.

It’s awesome that you are losing about a pound a week. It is a loss that shows up over time – which we all have seen on your blog. You keep saying that you are not losing and that you are at a plateau…..? You ARE LOSING WEIGHT!:)
Don’t worry, the other numbers will catch up if you keep on keeping on.

I had two really good weeks at the end of March and the first week of April. I’ve lost 1 lbs in 5 weeks according to weight watchers. I could be worse, I could be going the other way. But if you look at month over month progress, every month but April I’ve lost around 4-5 lbs per month, which is about 1 lbs per week. Which I’m fine with.
