So far 2015 has been pretty great. I’m eating well and moving more; I’ve been feeding my life with equal parts productivity and recreation. I’m hitting my stride when it comes to balancing work, life and fun. Here is a recap of my Well Fed Life in January.
I kicked off the new year with a fabulous meal at Little Goat with my love, Charlie. We rang in 2015 with a fantastic meal paired with beautiful wine.
I went to Nashville and drank a perfectly prepared cup of coffee at Crema Coffee. The scone I ate wasn’t to shabby either.
I started tackling my bread baking goal and made several loaves of whole wheat bread.
We made progress on the house and we (an by we I’m referring to the great drywall contractor we hired) fixed a HUGE gaping hole in our kitchen’s ceiling. Good by ugly hole!
I indulged in some excellent Ramen at Wasabi and rocked out to Lucero Concord Music Hall for date night.
I cooked a savory and satisfying ginger carrot soup for Soup and Bread. Proceeds benefited Benton House, a community center that serves the diverse needs of the Bridgeport community.
I closed out the month seeing Buddy Guy live, a Storyteller, a musician and a legend.
It was a grew month and great start to 2015. How did you feed your life in January?
