2014 was a GREAT year. Looking back I feel very blessed to have the life I have. I have a wonderful a family and great friends. I can’t wait to see what 2015 has in store. Here is a little recap of all of the blessings I had in 2014.
January
The WINTER of 2013-2014 WAS BRUTAL. B-R-U-T-A-L. In addition to binge watching Netflix, we worked on several home projects.
February
Charlie and I took Addison on our annual date night to PAWS Animal Magnetism.
March
We packed up our car and headed out on the “The Great American Road Trip” to Hunahpu Day and then back home with Stops in Asheville, NC and the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
April
Charlie and I escaped the NEVER ENDING WINTER and headed to Los Angeles and then the Palm Desert for Coachella.
May
Charlie and I headed to San Francisco for a long weekend away and to “run” Bay to Breakers. Spring also finally made an appearance in Chicago and I planted my garden.
June
Summer finally made an appearance and BBQ season started with a goat roast at Bang Bang Pie Shop.
July
More home projects and I learned how to make ice cream from Dana Cree
August
I put another Lollapalooza in the books. I was a Firework at the Katy Perry Concert. We hosted our first BBQ on our roof deck and I closed out the month by celebrating my 41st birthday cocktailing at the pool with my friends.
September
I crossed one off the bucket list and headed to Oktoberfest.
October
Charlie and I head back to Los Angeles. This time for a wedding and some sight seeing.
November
I had a blast cooking my Chili En Fuego for the Arts of Life Half Acre Chili Cook-off. Charlie and I also took our final trip of the year to Hawaii.
December
A month of zero travel which was spent with family and friends celebrating the holidays.
What a great year! I can’t wait to celebrate tonight with Charlie and start 2015 off with a Fresh Start!

It was a great year, and your walk down memory lane brought back some great memories for me, too!
