I can run 3 miles with marginal agony. My pace SUCKS at the moment. Well actually my first mile pace is much better than last year. I can run a mile in about 11 min, I just crumble after it and need to walk for a bit. I’ve gained a few # in the past 2 months which is part of the issue.
Tomorrow will be my first 5K of the season. Run for the Zoo. Its is sponsored by Nike which means a good t-shirt! Dri-Fit woot. I really wish they would give sleeveless t’s though.
My stretch goal..finish in 36 min. My realistic goal..finish in under 40 mins. My I’m happy to be alive goal..just finish. I’ll report back tomorrow.
The 1/2 Marathon is now a reality! I got my confirmation in the mail this week. Ek!!!
