Made it though week 2 of training, onto week 3. This is were the training becomes real. I truly think that anyone can eek out 25 minutes of running or 2 miles. Moving on I really can’t skip my week day runs, I have to start building a real base. Good news, the weather is better here in the Windy City.
In addition to the weather getting better, my schedule is getting lighter. I do A LOT of volunteer work (sometimes feels like a part time job) and we go on a slight hiatus over the summer. I feel like I get my Mondays back and lunches (I try to do my volunteer email and telephone calls at lunch at work).
Another positive note the pool deck at the club opens on Memorial Day. I really like to swim outside in the summer.
Bad new, I think I have to go to the doctor for my foot. I’m pretty positive they are going to say, heal spur…suck it up butter cup.

Good job on finishing Week 2, and I hope it is not a heel spur. The top of my right foot has been giving me some problems, too, grrrr.

Yay to Week 2!
I’ll think good thoughts on the heel spur.
