Several years ago I met several great women via Weight Watchers Online. Some were runners, some lived in Chicago, some were both (double bonus). Over the years we have gotten to know each other. They have become real life friends.
The process of weight loss is pretty straightforward:
Eat less calories than you need
Want to speed the process up:
Exercise
Its pretty simple, right? Yeah, if it was that simple half of Americans would not be obese!
Where am I going with this…well, I think to be successful in losing weight you need to mentally want to do it. It has to be more important than eating the cookie, meaning, you have to want to lose weight more than you want to give into your urges to eat, your desire to order an XL Shamrock Shake (not that I did that). You have to want to eat a cup of carrots not a cup of salty nuts. And when you fail, you have to have the desire to climb back on the wagon and get back on track. One bad meal can’t come a day of bad meals or a week or month or a year.
Its not easy, but having a bunch of women who you can bitch and complain about losing .2 pounds and being frustrated makes it all the more easy. These woman who I have met are part of that support structure. I’m so glad that I met them.
So what does one wear to meet their chubby chat friends out for dinner and wine? Well, definitely not my prom dress.
Shirt- Bobi (2009)
Leggings- Zara (2009)
Boots- Madden Girl (2009)
Necklace and Earrings- ?
After taking this pick I realized I needed to clean up a little…so I fixed my makeup and hair.
So you probably want to know what I ate.
Bacon cheeseburger, tatter tots with cheese and 3 beers.
JUST KIDDING
I had grilled blackened tuna with greens in a mustard vinaigrette and grilled veggies (I subbed in the veggies for mashed potatoes) and 3 glasses of red wine.

I think of the two bottles – Lisa drank one glass and we did the rest of the damage:). Now I want to see what you wore today:)
