Last night I whipped up a quick and tasty dinner was also very healthy and filling.
Stir Fry is so easy and their a so many combos out there. Last nights was simple. Top Sirloin with Snap Peas, Peppers and onions. I served it with Basmati rice and green salad with some diced onions and orange sections.
Stir Fry
1 pound top sirloin cubed and dried with paper towel
2-3 cups snap peas
1 cup peppers (green, yellow or red)
1 small onion or 1/2 large onion diced in large pieces
In 1 TBS oil (I use 1/2 TBS canola 1/2 TBS sesame) cook meat and remove from pan. In same pan add vegetables cook until hot and onions slightly caramelized (about 4-5 minutes) add 2 tsp fish sauce, 2 tsp Sriracha sauce, 1 TBS soy sauce, 1 tsp salt and crack pepper to taste. Add back in meat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Salad dressing:
Juice of 1-2 oranges (about 1/4 of a cup)
1/2 tsp fish sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp rice wine vinegar
