By profession I am a project manager. A year long goal without subtasks is really hard to obtain. So my January goals are:
- Get to my goal weight
- lose 5% of my current weight by sticking to weight watchers, counting and going to meetings
- Gym 5x per week
- Cook at home 5 nights a week and eat leftovers for lunch
- Walk/Run/Crawl 1000 miles
- complete week 1-4 of the Couch to 10K program
- walk 5 miles on a CT day
- Build a 10K base

- its all about putting in the time

- run at at a 5.5 mph pace when completing all Couch to 10K runs and 3.4+ mph when walking
- complete week 1-4 of the Couch to 10K program
What are your goals for 2012? How do you plan to accomplish them?
Re-do C25K. Not injure myself. Lose 10% of my body weight. Run again in the Sydney Running Festival 9K Bridge Run and beat my time (1hr 10min). That’ll do.
Those are great goals! I like how you broke them down into easier to manage tasks.
Did you put it in a Gantt chart?
(yes, I’m being a smart ass).
I like the breakdown into less daunting goals.
