After spending four great days in Copenhagen Charlie and I traveled to the Fjords in Norway. We stayed in the cozy coastal town of Bergen located on the peninsula of Bergenshalvøyen.
Known as the gateway to the Fjords, we spent four day exploring Bergen and the Fjords. We took the legendary railway to Flam. The views from the train were spectacular.
We took the hydrofoil back to Bergen thorough the Sognefjorden which is the largest Fjord in Norway.
I have never seen so such magnificent water falls or so many. Inasmuch as it was just the beginning of tourist season, still wet and cold with the foliage not yet bloomed, it was beautiful.
Back in Bergen we explored the city, saw some Trolls and enjoyed the views.
On our last day in Bergen we won the weather lottery with a gorgeous sunny day which we spent on the White Lady exploring some of the smaller Fjords.
I loved Bergen. It was cold and mostly rainy but nothing like I have every seen before.
